Jeff Whaley, MNAA

Jeff Whaley, MNAA is a Certified Residential Appraiser in Colorado and President of Rangewood Appraisal.  Jeff began his career as a residential real estate appraiser in 2001. He has a wide variety of experience as he has worked for a local appraisal firm, was a staff appraiser for BoA, and now works as an independent “boots on the ground” appraiser with his own team.

Jeff is a member of the National Association of Appraisers (NAA) and serves on the George R. Harrison Scholarship Fund Committee as well as being the immediate past president of the Colorado Association of Real Estate Appraisers (CAREA). Jeff and his team proudly provide pro bono appraisals and consultation to Habitat for Humanity of El Paso County. Jeff continues to mentor and has trained many appraisers. Jeff also offers review and supervision help to appraisers that have been through the state investigation process and are continuing in the careers.

Jeff is a native of Colorado and comes from a family tradition of military service. Jeff served for 8 years in the US Army as well as working in retail sales and construction trades before becoming a residential real estate appraiser.

Jeff and his wife of 38 years, Michelle have an adult daughter, Lauren.
