Michael Brunson, MNAA
Michael is a founding partner at RPD Analytics, LLC, a private firm specializing in complex litigation and traditional valuation assignments. He offers expert witness and consulting services in the areas of Real Estate Damages and USPAP Compliance. Michael holds a Master of Public Administration from Grand Canyon University, a BA in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the SRA Designation from the Appraisal Institute, and the MNAA designation from the National Association of Appraisers (NAA).
With 29 years in the appraisal profession, Michael specializes in litigation related appraisal assignments. However, he is also an active, “boots-on-the-ground” appraiser and routinely provides appraisals for regulated lending purposes (mainly for VA and high-end conventional clients). Michael is an active and passionate advocate for the appraisal profession. He is a founding member and Past President of the National Association of Appraisers and is the current Board of Directors Trustee. Michael is an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor and a certified general appraiser in Nevada. He is a former vice-chair and chair of The Appraisal Foundation Advisory Council (TAFAC) committee to the Appraisal Standards Board (ASB). Michael is a founding member and past president the Coalition of Appraisers in Nevada.
Michael is also active in his community serving as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Henderson and as an ordained chaplain working with at-risk youth in the juvenile justice system.
